Yikes! We have an actual baby - the hospital let us leave with her. What a scary, exciting feeling that is to put your first baby in a car seat and drive away from the safety of people who know what they're doing.
Our little miracle, Olivia Grace Martinsen, was born at 11:30 a.m. on February 24, 2009. She was 7 lbs. 2 oz. and 18 3/4 in. with lots of dark hair. She was healthy and absolutely beautiful.
This is Grandpa Monson before subbing, you can see that he still has energy and is smiling. Would that I had taken a before and after picture:)
Grandma and Grandpa Monson were a huge help. They stayed with us for a couple of months while Dad subbed for me in my second grade class at East Meadows in Spanish Fork. It was so fun to have them there.
Is that a proud daddy or what?
After about 3 days of contractions and a life saving epideral, on Feb. 24, 2009, Olivia Grace Martinsen decided to enter our loud, bright world. She was a perfect 7.2 lb, 18 3/4 in. long baby girl with lots of dark hair.
My East Meadows team. Amberly, Kristy, and I all had baby girls pretty close together and Tracy just had a baby boy. What an awesome team I have!
I love these people! Candice was my MTC companion and Sister Nilson was our visitor center director's wife. I'm so glad we live so close.
Jodi and I have always talked about having babies together and we finally had that blessing. My first and her last. It was so fun to be pregnant together and to be able to ask her all my questions - she's a pro of course.
Okay, our camera has problems. Jodi, Brittany, and Adri threw a baby shower for me. Lots of family and friends came - it was so fun (and helpful)! We got tons of cute clothes and baby items for little baby boo.
