Ode to October

A favorite for both Livvy and I is to go for long walks. Today was the first snow, so we stopped and built a miniature snowman. She was extremely proud of it and wanted to keep it. Needless to say it didn't last too long. Fare thee well little snowman.

Grandma Martinsen sent a Halloween card with stickers. She made short work of them as evidenced below:) Thanks Grandma!

Halloween at the library, but mom was clueless and didn't know it was dress up day. So Livvy is the one who doesn't have a costume on. She had a great time doing the monster mash, actually she just stood and stared at the crazy people with wigs getting their groove on.

For family home evening we carved a pumpkin. Liv's job was to get in there and help Dad gut the pumpkin. Oh, she loved that!

My new calling is with an Activity Days leader, which I love. The girls are in love with Livvy and play with her constantly, so of course, Livvy loves my calling too. We went trick-or-treating for canned goods for this activity. Eva, the one holding her, has kind of taken the role as Livvy's big sister. So fun.

We went trick-or-treating with our cousins. Does this face look mischievous or what? I found Livvy a couple of times hiding in the corner gorging herself on candy. It was pretty funny.
